College of Biblical Studies of Houston

A native of Victoria, Texas,  Sophomore Elijah Pickens joins the Ambassadors with championship pedigree and experience at multiple collegiate levels. Before arriving at CBS, Pickens competed at Victoria College and later Howard Payne University, gaining valuable development and maturity as a collegiate student-athlete.

Prior to college, Pickens built a standout résumé in homeschool basketball, earning State, Regional, and Tournament Co-MVP honors, while leading his team to a National Championship during the 2021–2022 season. His winning background, leadership on the court, and commitment to faith and academics align with his pursuit of a degree in Biblical Studies.

Pickens brings toughness, discipline, and a championship mindset as he contributes to the Ambassadors program both on and off the floor.
